Called AAA and they said it would be 5 hours before anyone would get out to us. The interstates had all been closed down from one Illinois to Michigan and we were late meeting my family to go into Chicago.
So using a blanket, a reusable grocery bag from HEB, and Deb behind the wheel I was able to push the truck across the frozen median, up out of the ditch, and onto the road again.
The picture of the open area is where we ended up. The interstate sign on the right of the picture is where we stared to slide and you can just see the tracks where we stopped towards the middle of the picture.
