Let's Eat

OK so the hotel had I think 11 different restaurants. 7 of which where speciality cuisine ones. You had to get reservations each day for the one you wanted. We never could get into the Japanese one we wanted but the rest were good. I tired to lump the meals together with the restaurant and what I remember eating. Enjoy.



The first night we had Le Masion which was a French restaurant.



Here is a salmon with dill cream cheese crepe which I had and a lobster ragout. Tasty.






Then after that we swung by the buffet and had a quick bite. They had 3 buffets that were for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Good cheese selection every day. One is from one day and the other I think was lunch.

The next day we went to a Thai restaurant. Very pretty. I had spicy shrimp and rib-eye green curry and Deb had cashew chicken.

The buffets had what I found out were decorations. They don't like it when you try to eat a piece. Jeez if they didn't want you to eat it then why make it out of food I say!

The buffet then again.

Tuesday we ate at the Dominican Republic restaurant. Good. I had a meal that had shrimp, clam, squid and some other seafood in a smooth tomato stock with seasoning.

Wednesday was Italian. I had lamb shank, grouper and something else I can't remember for the main course. Can't remember what Deb had. Not sure if she gets into the food as much as I do.

Thursday we did the American Restaurant. Really good steak but they were out of the ribs. All the restaurants had good desserts and about the same thing. Little cheesecakes or similar items.

The last day we ate at the French place again. I had some type of Salmon thing wrapped up. Not bad but the other was better. Think Deb had the steak she liked and I had a shrimp dish and a duck disk. The duck was amazing. Would have had it every day if I could have.

Along with all the food you could eat it was also all open bars. I tried to keep track of those as well but missed a few here and there. But here is most of what I remember enjoying.

Frozen Margarita, Vodka Martini, Tequila Sunrise, Pina Colada, Passion Fruit, Marco Polo, Long Island Ice Tea, Presidente Beer (D.R. Beer), Sex on the Beach, Apple Martini, Mohito, Brahma Beer (two 40Oz--it was hot on the tour bus what can I say), Coco loco, Rum and Coke, Brandy Alexander, MammaJuana, Kamikaze, Rina Colada, Rum and Coke again, Caprinita (lime and booze), Presidente beer, Run and coke, Coco loco, another beer, Strawberry daiquiri, Miami Vice, Bourbon Manhattan, another Manhattan, Passion Colada, Rum and Ice cream, Cabrinita, 2 Whiskey sours, Screwdriver, Bahama mamma, Dirty martini, Plantation punch, Blue island, Zombie, Frozen Margarita.

Some of the more girly drinks I had to have since Deb didn't like them and I hate to waste food or drinks. And some I just forgot to write down. Hey they were free and I think I may have covered my airline ticket. Hee Hee.

I started and ended the cycle with the margaritas. In case you didn't notice that little touch.
