Seeing Some Texas History

So we went to the San Jacinto Battleground and I took the time to teach Aunt Muffy about the 6 flags of Texas. Can't believe that she has lived here three years and didn't know them. She thought is was just an amusement park.

Here I am in the marshland. This connects up with the ship channel and has fish, snakes, and other things in it. Kind of cool.

In back of me is the San Jacinto Monument which marks where Texas beat the Mexican army to gain its independence. It wasn't supposed to be taller then the Washington Monument but we forgot to tell the federal government about the start which makes it taller. Hee Hee.

Here I am with Paw Paw and Grandpa. I'm the younger one in the pictures.

Now I am on the battleship Texas. Cool ship that you get to crawl all over.
Lining up my shot to sink the enemy sub.

Whatever I do...just don't fart!

It was fun on the ship and we got to climb really high up onto parts of the ship. This was only about half way up the ship.

Take that brother...bang bang bang.

Check out the size of those guns! And the ship has some big ones too.
