Mommy B-day Gift

For mommy's b-day daddy took us to the zoo. Not sure how that was a gift but mommy seemed to like the idea. So this is a quick recap of our exciting day at the zoo with daddy.

First I had to make sure my camera was working so I could take some pictures. Yep, it is ready to go. Then brother and I checked the tires on the wagon. Wouldn't want them to go flat, otherwise we'd have to walk.

Next I consulted the map to plot out where we needed to go to see all the animals. Kind of tricky since the map doesn't have pictures but daddy helped me.

We saw the cheetah actually moving for the first time. For a fast animal it seems to like to sit around all the time. We also saw the new baby giraffe. It is only a few months old. It seems like every few months they have a new giraffe. At the rate they are going it is going to be just like John and Kate plus 8.

Here are some pictures I took with my camera. The first is a bird crossing the street. I call it "Bird crossing the street". Then I got a picture of the meerkats. They are funny. The other picture is of a naked mole rat. It had huge teeth and no fur. Bet at night it keeps the neighbors up when its teeth chatter from being cold.

When we got ready to leave the car was hot. How hot you ask? Well the temp reading still said 115 even with the air on for a few minutes. So with it so hot what could we do but....

GET ICE CREAM!!!!!!!!!!
